International War Crimes Tribunal Boycott

Radovan Karadzic, a Bosnian war crime suspect, has informed the International War Crimes Tribunal that he has not had enough time to prepare his case, and thus has boycotted. Karadzic, a former Bosnian Serb leader, is accused of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. He has been told that the Tribunal will not make decisions on the start of the trial based on defendant's preparation, instead it falls on the judges to determine the beginning of the trial. Radovan Karadzic refuses to attend trial where he is charged with Genocide

Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb leader has been charged with genocide and crimes against humanity for his actions during the war in Bosnia in the early 90's. Mr. Karadzic was arrested in Belgrade in 2008 and since then has asked for numerous extensions and delayed his trial. More than 8,000 men were executed in Srebrenica while Karadzic was leading the Bosnian Serb forces in their struggle with Bosnian Muslims and Croats. To read more, click here NYTimes.
